WHAT IS CRYOTHERAPY?
What is cryotherapy?
Cryotherapy is a safe, non-invasive treatment during which the body is exposed to cold of around −110 °C for a short time. This sudden cold stimulus triggers the body's natural regeneration processes.
Cold applied to the whole body stimulates blood circulation, reduces inflammation and supports the functioning of the muscles, joints and nervous system.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Questions and answers
Is cryotherapy painful?
There is a cool, stinging sensation on the skin, but the dry cold makes it not as unpleasant as freezing in water. Most people find it refreshing and energising.
How many treatments are recommended?
The number of treatments depends on your goal. For general well-being 3–5 sessions a week are recommended in the first month; a full course usually consists of 10–40 sessions.
How often can it be repeated?
For athletes, 2–3 sessions a week are recommended to support recovery. In the case of chronic complaints 2–3 sessions a month are typical; in more serious cases the frequency can be increased.
What clothing should I wear?
Usually a swimsuit or underwear, plus protective gloves, thick socks and special slippers to protect the extremities.
How long will I feel the effect?
The freshness after the treatment usually appears immediately. For a longer-lasting result a regular, course-like application is recommended.
