WHAT IS RED LIGHT THERAPY?
What is red light therapy?
Red light therapy (photobiomodulation) is a non-invasive treatment that uses red light of 620–700 nm and near-infrared light of 700–1000 nm. The light penetrates through the skin into the deeper tissues.
There it stimulates the mitochondria of the cells, increasing ATP production: the metabolism of the cells improves, regeneration speeds up and collagen production increases.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Questions and answers
How does red light therapy work?
Low-intensity red and near-infrared light penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin, where it stimulates the functioning of the mitochondria. This promotes the regeneration of the cells, a reduction in inflammation and an increase in collagen production.
How long does a treatment take?
A session lasts approximately 15–30 minutes.
How often is it recommended?
At the beginning daily treatment is recommended for 1–2 weeks, then 3–4 times a week. Once the desired result has been achieved, 1–2 maintenance treatments a week are enough.
What should I wear during the treatment?
The skin surface to be treated should be clean, without make-up or body lotion. With a strong panel the use of protective goggles is recommended.
How long does it take before the effect is noticeable?
The pain-relieving effect may appear after just a few treatments; an improvement in the condition of the skin is typically visible after 4–6 weeks of regular use.
